Junaid Imam Adib is an Urban & Regional Planning professional, researcher, and academic with a background in Urban & Regional Planning from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET). He completed his BURP during the 2019–2020 academic session, securing 1st Position in the Civil Engineering Faculty and being nominated for the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal for academic excellence.

He has served as a Pioneer Lecturer in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning at MIST, contributing to the establishment and development of the department’s academic activities. He also worked part-time as a Remote Supervisor with Save the Children under the C4C Project.

He has professional experience as an Assistant Urban Planner at Sheltech Consultant Pvt. Ltd., where he was involved in master plan preparation, land-use planning, GIS-based spatial analysis, urban development assessment, field surveys, and preparation of planning maps and reports.

His research interests include Transportation Planning & Policy, Urban Planning & Management, Environmental Planning & Management, and GIS & Remote Sensing Applications, particularly in environmental monitoring, disaster management, and sustainable urban development.
